Dive into the world of Data Science, data modeling, machine learning, and more in this Deep Dive Coding Bootcamp. You will learn to solve critical business problems within your domain of expertise with new skills in Python programming, modeling, and data analysis. Students will work on labs and projects to build and maintain data models. Graduates will be able to design and implement a real-world model producing actionable information.

Data science and AI skills have been identified by the World Economic Forum as an emerging prospect in the future of work, with the number of job opportunities in this field expected to grow by 450,000 from 2020-2022. Glassdoor estimates that Data Scientists are well compensated, with an average salary in Albuquerque of $75-$125K, and up to $140K nationwide.

Robert Citek, M.S., Lead Instructor

Robert Citek is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in biotech, healthcare, and research, focusing primarily in bioinformatics. Robert earned his undergraduate degree in molecular and cell biology from the University of California at Berkeley and his graduate degree in microbiology from the University of California at Riverside. He has worked in a variety of settings, including universities, startups, and multi-national corporations, where he has developed expertise in building and managing complex compute infrastructures, from single servers to global data centers to cloud computing. Robert is passionate about sharing his knowledge and expertise with students and helping them to develop the skills they need to succeed in the rapidly-evolving world of data science. In his spare time, you can find him walking his foster dog, volunteering for local non-profits, cooking or baking with his wife and friends, or out on the trails exploring the beautiful outdoors.

Get College Credit

After you have completed this bootcamp, you will receive a certificate of completion, not a degree. You can receive Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) from Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) if you do decide to later pursue a degree, getting free credit for classes that are similar to what you learned in the bootcamp.
