What You’ll Learn
Deep Dive offers a fast-paced series of IT support classes that prepare you for entry-level employment as an IT professional. Learn the fundamentals of IT support including help desk protocol, desktop support, technical customer support, troubleshooting, and general IT maintenance.
Our experienced instructors will prepare you for valuable industry certifications, which are included in the cost of the program. To gain a broad knowledge, we recommend attending all classes in the series; however, you may select your courses based on your goals and experience.

Requirements
It’s expected that our students will have a practical understanding of popular operating systems, as well as fundamental computer, internet, and digital peripheral device skills. Contact us for information about minimum specs. Limited loaners are available through CNM ITS.
IT Professional Series
Schedule
- All courses occur on Tuesday and Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m.
- Deep Dive provides a two-week break between each class to allow time for certification exams.
- The full IT Professional Certification Series can be completed in approximately 32 weeks.
- Each individual class can be completed in eight weeks.

Tuition assistance is available.

Meet Your IT Professional Instructors
Dr. David Beach
Dr. David Beach has worked in Higher Education for over 17 years as a Computer Information Systems faculty member and Academic Affairs Director for CNM before retiring and moving to part-time instruction. In addition to the faculty role, Dr. Beach was also the administrator of several programs including Cisco Networking Academy, VMware Academy, and the Cybersecurity certificate program.
Tony Chessman
Tony Chessman has over 31 years of sustained leadership, supervisory experience, and technical skills in Command, Control, Communication and Computer Systems operations, and cybersecurity. His areas of experience include federal and military communications, information systems security, network operations, system administration, medical information systems, acquisitions, and program management.
