Quantum Technician
Learn to work with tech manufacturing using quantum science.
What You Will Learn
In Deep Dive’s new Quantum Technician bootcamp, you will learn to solve complex, real-world problems that conventional technology can’t solve. We will teach you the fundamentals of quantum science, quantum technology, and quantum physics so that you are prepared for a high-tech manufacturing position in the semiconductor, solar manufacturing, and opto-electronics industries.
Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) has received $862,000 in federal funding to establish a quantum science lab and develop a quantum training bootcamp to support the fast-growing workforce needs of this emerging field. Our new QuLL (Quantum Learning Lab), set to open in 2025, will be fully equipped with frontier technologies used in quantum computing to drive innovation.
More than 10,000 quantum jobs are expected to be created by 2030 and 80 percent of these jobs will be for non-advanced degrees. Join Deep Dive’s Quantum Technician bootcamp and secure your future in quantum technology.
If you are curious about the Quantum Technician bootcamp but aren’t ready to register, please don’t hesitate to fill out our contact form, and we will answer any questions you may have.

Meet Your Quantum Technician Instructors

Dr. Brian Rashap
Dr. Brian Rashap spent nearly a quarter of century at Intel Corp. where he drove the implementation of technology and IoT to improve building, manufacturing, facilities, and building capabilities and performance. Dr. Rashap is co-leading the workforce development activities for the Elevate Quantum Tech Hub with a focus on training technicians for high tech industries, such as Quantum Computing. He has a passion for making technology careers accessible for everyone and in pioneering techniques such as Just-In-Time Math to help students better grasp the application of math and science to technology fields. In addition, he teaches Physics and Circuit Analysis for CNM’s School of Math, Science, and Engineering.

Shawn Morales
Shawn Morales spent nearly 32 years as a manufacturing technician at Intel Corp., where he worked on 26 different tools across various areas of the manufacturing process to help drive product quality. Shawn developed, implemented, and improved procedures that enhanced machine maintenance and performance, reducing downtime and boosting overall user performance with standard operating procedures. While at Intel, Shawn completed two technology and knowledge transfer assignments in Oregon to learn procedures, training, and documentation methods to share with the New Mexico site. Shawn is experienced in and passionate about training next-generation technicians and engineers on tools, helping them develop the skills and knowledge to become successful technicians.
What Our Team Members Are Saying
“Over the course of the next few years, we’re going to see quantum become more applicable to solving real world problems, which will require more technicians to build and maintain quantum systems. CNM will be at the forefront of building and training that workforce.”
