About Deep Dive

Established in 2013, Deep Dive is the founding program of CNM Ingenuity, a non-profit dedicated to promoting public welfare, individual prosperity, and economic development on behalf of Central New Mexico Community College (CNM).

With over 2,000 alumni worldwide, Deep Dive offers affordable tech training, tuition assistance, and comprehensive learner supports from CNM, including HireCNM, Wellness CNM, and Accessibility Services.

Our award-winning programs are designed and delivered by industry-proven subject matter experts who meet learners at their experience level, support them with a robust alumni network, and connect them with internships and jobs upon completion.

Deep Dive’s Educational Philosophy

At Deep Dive, we pride ourselves on offering a creative space and transformative experience for every one of our learners. This looks like:

• Tailoring the curriculum to meet the needs of each cohort, as each cohort presents unique needs.
• Promoting a sense of community within each cohort through consistent team building and collaboration exercises.
• Developing the marketable strengths of each learner through extensive professional development opportunities.
• Practicing what we preach. Our instructors are actively working in their field of instruction or have extensive experience in their field.

What to Expect in a Bootcamp or Part-Time Class

Deep Dive programs are taught bootcamp style, meaning courses are short, intense, and immersive; however, we meet our learners where they are. Our experienced instructors determine your level of prior knowledge, then adapt lessons to meet your needs. In our bootcamps and part-time classes, you can expect:

• Guided instruction to deepen understanding.
• Independent work to demonstrate comprehension.
• Problem-solving activities to apply new skills.
• Group projects to tackle real industry work.
• Mentorship from alumni and instructors to clarify concepts.

Wrap Around Services

Deep Dive wrap around services are meant to ensure minimum disruptions to learning, high levels of comprehension, on-time program completion, and access to employment or entrepreneurial opportunities leveraging new technical skills.

Bootcamp Success

Our Bootcamp Success Manager helps learners navigate personal development, conflict resolution, team building, and balancing of school and life. Brief, regularly scheduled meetings during the program are mandatory, and additional meetings may be scheduled as needed or as required by a Success Plan.

Career Readiness

Deep Dive does not guarantee job placement; rather, we prepare learners for the job search process and entrance into workforce. Our Employer Relations Manager delivers Career Readiness sessions on resume and network development, job and industry research, interview preparation and strategy, and entrepreneurial pursuits. Career Readiness is available to full-time bootcamp learners during and after their program.

Deep Dive Student Support
