What You’ll Learn
In Deep Dive’s Game Design class, you will learn the fundamentals of game design, game psychology, game mechanics, and game development using the popular game engine, Unity.
Each game design module in this class will prepare you for game design prototyping, resulting in the creation of a playable digital game. Learn how to use your creativity to create games for entertainment and for corporate, government, or educational training.

Requirements
It’s expected that our students will have a practical understanding of popular operating systems, as well as fundamental computer and internet skills.
Students must use their own laptop in this class, with an operating system of Windows 10OS or Mac 10.13 or above. Webcams and microphones are required. Internet access with a minimum of 3.8Mpbs/3.0Mbps (up/down) is also required. Contact us for information about minimum specs. Limited loaners are available through CNM ITS.

- Four weeks to completion
- Mondays and Fridays: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- 100% virtual, synchronous instruction via Zoom

Cost and Tuition Assistance
Total Cost: $2,995
For part-time classes, the tuition payment must be made in full at the time of registration.
Tuition assistance is available.
Nine out of ten applicants receive 100% funding for their Deep Dive programs. Participants receiving financial assistance via scholarships or other funding sources may not have to pay a deposit or any tuition. Learn more about tuition assistance and the payment process.

Dr. Rod Sanchez
Dr. Rod Sanchez has spent the last decade working with companies such as Intel, HP, and DreamWorks Animation SKG to develop first-of-its-kind digital products and technologies. Rod speaks nationally about the important relationship between emerging media, education, and the world economy.
Kasie Cochrane
Kasie Cochrane is a Creative Designer who specializes in digital illustration, 2D animation, graphic design, and video production and editing. With a background in Fine Art and a passion for Art and Design, she strives to build projects that can expose the creative process.
