What You Will Learn
Deep Dive offers a fast-paced series of IT support classes that prepare you for entry-level employment as an IT professional. Learn the fundamentals of IT support including help desk protocol, desktop support, technical customer support, troubleshooting, and general IT maintenance.
Our experienced instructors will prepare you for valuable industry certifications, which are included in the cost of the program. To gain a broad knowledge, we recommend attending all classes in the series; however, you may select your courses based on your goals and experience.

Requirements
The IT Professional program requires an intake conversation with a Senior Program Manager.
Our learners are expected to have practical understanding and experience with computers, including an intermediate proficiency operating a laptop and mouse, navigating popular operating systems and search engines, creating documents, and adding/starting/removing applications and systems on personal devices.
Learners must use their own laptop in this class with an operating system of Windows 10OS or Mac 10.13 or above. Chromebooks and tablets are insufficient. Webcams, a working headset with a microphone, a mouse, and reliable internet access with a minimum of 3.8Mpbs/3.0Mbps (up/down) are required for this 100% virtual, synchronous class. IT Professional Certificate Series and Classes
Schedule
- All courses occur on Tuesday and Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m. (MT)
- 100% virtual, synchronous instruction
- This program can be completed as a series or as individual classes based on your needs.
- 32 weeks to full series completion. Eight weeks to individual class completion.
- The time commitment outside of class includes homework and group projects totaling at least 15 hours per week.

Meet Your IT Professional Instructors
Dr. David Beach
Dr. David Beach has worked in Higher Education for over 17 years as a Computer Information Systems faculty member and Academic Affairs Director for CNM before retiring and moving to part-time instruction. In addition to the faculty role, Dr. Beach was also the administrator of several programs including Cisco Networking Academy, VMware Academy, and the Cybersecurity certificate program.
Tony Chessman
Tony Chessman has over 31 years of sustained leadership, supervisory experience, and technical skills in Command, Control, Communication and Computer Systems operations, and cybersecurity. His areas of experience include federal and military communications, information systems security, network operations, system administration, medical information systems, acquisitions, and program management.
